SXSW EDU: What’s Next in Education
In 2025 the education industry was in disarray. Budgets were tightening, literacy was dropping, new tech complicated the role of teachers, and government policies made a path forward more confusing.
I needed to show stakeholders across education that there was hope; it was more important than ever to invest in new ideas and the future of education. I was tasked with driving badge sales for SXSW EDU, a conference and festival that celebrates innovation in teaching and learning.
Leading up to the March 2026 event, I wrote over a hundred assets—across print, paid social, and email—targeting dozens of audience segments. Through A/B tests and iterating copy, I increased email open rates, click through rates, and return on ad spend.
